So .. Who am I….
Name: Rod. Watson
Age: 40+something *wink*
I’ve been involved in the Information Technology field forever. Starting with my first computer (TI-994a) along with TRS-80’s and Apple IIe’s I quickly found that the thrill of taking an idea, converting it into computer instructions (code) and watching that idea come to life had me hooked, and as such for the last 30+ years I have persued this career.
Progressing from the BASIC language (along with a splattering of assembler), at one time or another I have written programs in just about every mainstream language. These days I primarily use C++, with occasional lapses back into C whenever I need to write some linux console apps.
While I have never followed ‘coding’ as part of my career/occupation, I still very much enjoy writing applications in my spare time.
I am currently employed as Network Support Administrator for Australia’s only national coach company Greyhound Australia Pty Ltd.
Oh, BTW! You may notice that my ‘blogging’ is minimal – *shrug* to bad.
