Changes and Improvements

Well

The past couple of weeks have seen some (lot) changes to ‘Trader’

No longer does the system start new players in-space, but now actually starts all new players on the ‘Starting System Station’ level allowing the player to upgrade their ship, purchase their commodities etc before tackling the dangers and risks found ‘out in the galaxy’

Yes, some screenshots are coming along with some newer Tech videos showing this in action.

Troublesome Render Issues

FINALLY found what was causing this – who would have thought that having too SMALL a camera near distance would cause something like this – but thats what it was :) Stay tuned for some NEW screenshots and videos of the new Space Station Levels and Boarding/Launching & Docking…..

Just some pics of a current problem.

(Current Level – Blender. Red Circled locations are the following screenshots.)
As can be seen, there is no overlap on the area to the left. Right side there is also no overlap as the ‘door’ sits WITHIN the opening with a gap around all edges.

(Main Problem Area – Appears like faces are missing showing the room behind – no overlapping faces)

(Secondary example of problem – ‘Door’ breaks up & tears)
